Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services recently held our 1st Quarter 2022 Summit. The highlights included the Fifth Avenue Family Tenure Awards and the celebration of our COVID-19 MVPs, the company’s founding partners, and our business growth.
Fifth Avenue Family Tenure Awards
Companies are sometimes challenged with recruiting the right employees. Finding the most capable and skilled people is an excellent investment of time and effort. Keeping employees can be just as tricky. Cultivating an environment of collaboration, compassion, and reliance is vital for successful employee retention.
Employees who remain loyal and dedicated to their company should be recognized and applauded for their commitment to a company’s mission and their enthusiasm for the job. Achievements, professional relationships, and successes should be celebrated alongside years of service, and we have such a fantastic team to recognize and celebrate!
The Fifth Avenue Family Tenure Awards recognize longevity and the trust and expertise that comes from it. These awards specifically celebrate our team members with 10+ or 15+ years of service.
The Fifth Avenue family members at the 1st Quarter 2022 Summit that received this award include:
- Amy Simon, 10+ years
- Amy Haney, 10+ years
- Jim Mays, 12+ years
- Bill Navarette, 12+ years
- Ashlee Cartwright, 12+ years
- Iva Gilliam, 15+ years
- Pam Perrotta, 16+ years
- Mary Braly, 16+ years
- Donna Gaydos, 17+ years
Our Fifth Avenue COVID-19 MVPs
The COVID-19 public health emergency has made companies assess and modify their workplace environments. Many companies have embraced remote workplaces to accommodate this shift.
Hunter Robbins, IT Security Administrator, and Bill Navarette, CIO, worked immediately at the onset of the pandemic to transition the IT infrastructure from a traditional healthcare service office to a multi-state remote group where 99% of the team works remotely now. Bill and Hunter ensured that our clients were seamlessly and securely served, and they adapted the necessary tools for our credentialing staff to continue their essential work for the industry and our clients during these changing times.
Our Fifth Avenue Founding Partners
Our 1st Quarter 2022 Summit saw us express our gratitude to our founding partners, Chairman Mr. Jim Feist, CGO Guy C. Feist, COO Brad Bond, and CEO Joe Spann. Launching Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services and guiding it to be a leader in credentialing, medical professional liability insurance solutions, and provider enrollment requires having a unified vision and the means to see that vision through. Gathering the best people for the job to optimize synergy creates a cycle of superior service that drives tremendous growth.
Their combined 100+ years of healthcare experience and skillsets have helped forge one fantastic team. 63% of our team members have 10+ years of experience. Together, they have 385+ years of combined industry experience. Over the past two decades, thousands of providers have trusted us with their credentialing, MPLI, and provider enrollment needs. We possess the knowledge to help reduce your workload and costs while speeding up your credentialing process. Having the proper abilities has worked to our advantage as our company expands toward new horizons.
Celebrating Fifth Avenue’s Growth
The healthcare industry has experienced a massive transformation due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. How physicians treat patients and practices are run has changed almost overnight, with 8% of physicians closing their practice due to COVID-19 (16,000 shuttered practices). What has not changed is Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ determination to get physicians to work quickly and confidently. While COVID-19 has set new challenges, we feel more than capable of confronting and overcoming each one, setting high benchmarks.
We have established new partnerships in additional states, increasing our provider enrollment reach. In January 2022, Friday Health Plans contracted with Primoris Credentialing Network, Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ provider enrollment brand. We also passed audits that saw Primoris added to the HealthSmart and MultiPlan networks. These partnerships continue Primoris’ expansion of solutions with 54+ health plans and network provider enrollment options. As the largest credentialing independent practice association in the Midwestern United States, Primoris is poised to grow even more.
Sharing the spotlight with Primoris’ victories is the launch of our new award-winning credentialing brand, 5ACVO.
We won 5 healthcare marketing awards for the rebranding:
- Aster Awards Silver Winner for the new credentialing branding of 5ACVO and its newly-designed website 5ACVO.com.
- Aster Awards Silver Winner for the credentialing marketing piece, Before & After.
- Aster Awards Winner Bronze for the newly-designed Primoris Credentialing Network website.
- 38th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards Winner for outstanding work in the website redesign of Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services.
- 38th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards Silver Winner for 5ACVO’s Before & After campaign.
Our growth has strengthened the bond of our corporate family. 5ACVO, Primoris Credentialing Network, and Fifth Avenue Agency are collaborating and helping each other better than ever, thanks to technological advancements and an infusion of new talent.
We added talented team members.
Jillian Davis, formerly of Tenet Physician Resources, is our Executive Director of Credentialing Operations. Before her promotion, she was our Director of Credentialing Operations. She has effectively used her 10+ years of industry expertise to ensure her team’s continued achievements. Her persistence in looking for improvement has helped elevate Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services’ extraordinary standards. Her promotion acknowledges her essential skills in a field that requires unerring accuracy. She is expected to stand out in her new role as she has many times before.
We also celebrate the promotion of Curt Matlach to Chief Marketing Officer. Previously, Curt served as the Marketing Director for Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services. He has utilized his 20+ years of experience in marketing and sales to advance our company’s reputation. His deep expertise obtained from working for Fortune 500 companies like Merrill Lynch and Charles Schwab keeps benefiting our company. Curt’s promotion enhances his standing as an experienced business leader who can simplify complex problems and present creative solutions.
Not to be outdone is the most recent promotion of Donna Gaydos to Chief Cultural Officer. Formerly the Director of Data Integrity Management, Donna is now charged with ensuring we maintain a positive culture to continue operating at our peak. Her 20+ years of healthcare experience guided her team through several carrier audits, passing each. She has overseen our credentialing procedures to guarantee they align with our client’s expectations. Being a credentialing expert for 2+ decades, coupled with her humility, has helped shape our company’s goals and values. Her new position will undoubtedly continue the level of excellence she and our company are known for.
Maintaining Momentum
Companies across every industry must keep up with trends and technology to remain relevant. Ignoring change because of a potentially painful adjustment period can hamper a company’s growth. Continuing this focus on development with excellence, Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services, 5ACVO, and Primoris, Credentialing Network, acquired NCQA Credentialing Accreditation.
The past few years have seen challenges affect almost everyone. We have had to adapt and adopt new strategies to sustain everything we have attained in our years of service. We at Fifth Avenue Healthcare Services have the tools and teams to maintain this incredible growth momentum we have built over the past 20+ years.
We look forward to serving the credentialing space with such a fantastic group of people for many more years!
